F. SCHOENING: From BAYER HELLAS. I just have two very little points. One is: As you are asking for help in sticking to budgets, I just want to point out we saw a very good
improvement last year already of the hospital collection, but I would like to point out that sticking to budgets would also mean that we need to be paid for the products we deliver in time.
So despite the enormous improvements, we hope that really this year this will continue and we can come to the agreed payment terms also on the hospital side. That’s one point.
The second point I want to make is: As we talk about opportunities also and how, as industry, we can help, I would like to put your attention to one very easy catch that could help at least part of the industry to come into an investment mode again, which is the liberal pricing of drugs which are not reimbursed, meaning the liberal pricing for drugs of the negative list, and liberal pricing for OTC drugs.
Why am I saying this? Today there are a lot of drugs not available in Greece because they have never been launched here. There is no impact on the government budget at all for liberal pricing. It actually goes in line with what you said, Nikos. We produce half of our OTC products for example with FAMAR, a local company, so it invests into the local market.
It gives pharmacies a good base for business during times when they are also troubled. And it will enable us to maintain at least some of the jobs which we unfortunately through this crisis currently are forced to slash.
So I would like to bring this to your attention and hope you could reconsider a very easy ministerial decision to enable liberal pricing for negative drugs and OTCs.
Α. ΛΟΒΕΡΔΟΣ: I could say that we have already decided it, but we need some time to implement it, so you have to wait for a while. We have taken such a decision.
